About Edsart

CURRICULUM VITAE

2004: After graduating from the Amsterdam Conservatory, I studied at the Fundación Cristina Heeren in Seville, and received the highest grades of that year.

2007: Completed the Masters Program at the Amsterdam Conservatory, graduating with high honours (9 out of 10).

Completed various Master Classes in classical and flamenco guitar with (among others) Jorje Cardoso and Jeronimo Maya, in Holland and abroad.

Performed on radio and television.

Performed as a classical guitarist and as a flamenco guitarist. Performed in the Netherlands in, among other places, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Paradiso, and Vredenburg in Utrecht, as well as abroad, as both a soloist and with various ensembles.

Since 2006 I have been a guest lecturer on the conservatories of Arnhem, Zwolle, and Enschede (ARTEZ).

In April 27th 2011 Trouw writes about Edsart (playing the show ‘Flamenkita’):”Virtuous… outstanding guitarist… Belongs to the top of Dutch flamenco musicians.”

In February 2008 Eric Vaarzon Morel tips Edsart in ‘Het Parool’ as new flamenco talent in the Netherlands.

In 9 October 2006, the ‘Noord-Hollands Dagblad’ wrote about Edsart Udo de Haes:”A surprise…virtuoso…impressive…and sublime accompanist.”
